Exactly as above DO NOT BUY FROM SAINSBURY’S! I order a £600 fridge freezer which I actually found cheaper elsewhere but went with Sainbury’s as I thought I would rather pay a bit extra and have no hassle – they were nothing but hassle and didn’t deliver.
After talking to their customer service, they admitted they say “in stock” on their website when PRODUCTS ARE NOT IN STOCK. This is why they have delivery problems, they take the money and then are just ordering through from the manufacturer. I was told 3 different reasons for the delay by three different staff.
They simply would not guarantee a delivery time – saying things like “what if the delivery lorry crashes”.
I ended up cancelling my order to buy it elsewhere. You have been warned!
Had no problem ordering and paying. Sorted a delivery for a friday. This was then cancelled by them for the next tuesday, then again to the coming friday, then again to the next tuesday, then again to the coming saturday, then again. At this point i told them to forget it as they blatenly coundn’t delivery on their promises. I went else where and got a great service from someone who atually could give me what i wanted. Bottom line DON’T BUY IT HERE!
