Hotpoint WDL520P

This is an attractive, stylish unit that comes in a white finish with a large porthole doorway.  The Hotpoint WDL520P is a front-loading, fully-automatic combined washer and dryer, making it two machines in one.  Its extra large capacity makes it a good choice for the large and busy household, able to hold up to 7 kg of dry cloth for a wash load and up to 5 kg of wet cloth for a drying cycle. 

The ratings for efficiency are solid across the board, with the machine holding an A in wash and Bs in energy and spin.  The maximum drum spin speed is 1,200 rpm, which makes this model slower than both the WDF740P and the WDD960P.  Although the Hotpoint WDL520P has a freestanding construction, this can be slotted beneath the standard worktop, measuring 85 cm in height, 59.5 cm in width and 53.5 cm in depth. 

Extra features include 16 wash programmes, overflow protection, an anti-crease option and a mechanical programme selector.
