Hoover VHD862

Although the VHD844DB is an excellent machine, the Hoover VHD862 outperforms it when it comes to the maximum spin speed and extra features.  Both fully-automatic, front-loading machines are given excellent ratings in all three categories, with the VHD862 earning an A+ in energy efficiency and As for wash efficiency and spin efficiency. 

However, this machine has a maximum spin speed of 1,600 rotations per minute compared to 1,400 rpm.  It also has 16 different wash programmes, compared to 15.  The VHD862 comes in the colour of white, and although it is a free-standing unit, its size permits it to fit beneath the standard U.K. worktop, measuring 85 cm in height, 60 cm in width and 59 cm in depth. 

The drum capacity will hold an impressive 8 kg of dry cloth per load, making it ideal for a very large family.  The machine also features: spin stability, a half-load function, rinse hold, a start delay timer, overflow protection, anti-crease option and a remaining time indicator.
