bad DIGITAL DIRECT 5 weeks I’m been waithing and not delivered another 2 weeks and no money after my bank charge money from Digital Direct no more DIGITAL DIRECT BAD BAD BAD
Was initially a bit annoyed with this company. Ordered a TV on the sunday, a week later had not received the TV, nor had any contact from the firm and the money had not been taken from my account – I was suspicious. Sent 2 emails (saturday & sunday) no response. Phoned on the Monday (got straight through) and the very obliging customer service chap first apologised for not replying to my emails, then said that I should have had an email saying the product was out of stock. I agreed to take a similar product and was guarenteed a Wednesday delivery. It arrived 10 am Wednesday morning. Very happy with the price I paid. Poor start – very good finish.
I have recently bought a television and a dvd surround system from Digital Direct and was more than happy with everything. The price was good, the communication was good and the delivery was when it was arranged for. I have dealt with them before and remember a slight delay in delivery but this was communicated before the event and was still happy with the whole transaction. I will in no doubt be back nearer Christmas as that is when my wife decides to let me treat myself….lol.

Since leaving this comment I have been contacted by Digital Direct’s manager who appologised and explained that the delay in supply was due to supply problems with Sony themselves. I am aware that this model has been difficult to get hold of and now that I have had contact with them am much happier.
The problem with the phones also was due to an automated system which dropped you off when you had been waiting for a certain time to avoid large phone bills and the delays in answering were due to the people on the other end being snowed under due to a rush of enquiries.
I ordered a SOny 40W4500 from Digital Direct as it was listed as in-stock on this site. By the time they took the money from my account (after an email asking why this hadn’t happened) it wasn’t.
They have ignored three emails asking for information on my order and I have been hung up on three times (after a long wait on a premium number and before talking to anyone) and so have been unable to contact anyone at all at Digital Direct. I can’t even cancel my order because I couldn’t contact them to do so.
As far as I know my money (nearly £1000) vanished into a black hole nearly three weeks ago and your guess is as good as mine as to if or when I will receive my TV.
Customer service is terrible and they are impossible to get hold of. If you’re looking to order from Digital Direct take my advice and look elsewhere.
