ended up ordering by phone as web site was tooooo slow. having taken payment was advised after payment had been taken Item not in stock andwould be a three week delay. Said to cancelo rder and was then told refund would take between 3 & 28 days!!!!

Total Idiots. Listed the fridge as in stock (RSH1DTMH) – got an email saying that they “couldn’t process my payment”.. I call, concerned there might be a problem with my card (which is what their email implied) to find out the item wasn’t in stock and coudln;t be delivered until a month later. As such I lost time and missed a delivery slot with another retailer. I suspect this was a cheap trick by them to try and get my custom on an out of stock item.
I will not be using Comet again.
Despeite the site saying this item was in stock it wasn;t and nevre was – I ended up cancelling my order. When I finally got through to customer services to speak to someone they were very helpful to be fair but I have been put off using Comet I’m afraid. Their delivery charges are high and time slots are 12 hours.
Ordering on site was simple and straightforward. Item arrived on time as promised.
All went as planned and item fantastic. Been looking for a small laptop for a couple of years now and the NC10 ticks every box.
Although showing as “Available” and “checked 20 mins ago” This item has been out of staock for the past 10 days. Even the shop admits its out of stock.
Tried to buy this TV online last week took 3 goes and their system could not accept payment by debit card. Then phoned the order in on their telephone ordering system with better luck. Staff helpful and polite however it is now a week later and a day before the delivery date Ive still not had an order number, or any email confirmation nor been billed – their staff say the order is pending despite over 1400 units in stock. Banking institution informing me that the Comet group have ordering system issues at the moment. Made me want to go back to buying with cash and collecting myself, i could have had it a week ago with a lot less hassle. Not good Comet, hassle i dont need and £7.50 in phone calls. Now where is the comet customer complaints email address…
