It's sexier than before and now with video. If you liked the previous incarnations then the new 4gb Nano may just hit the mark.
On my Nano, the 4gb holds just over 1000 songs (with no videos), obviously less if you stuff it with your favourite videos. The picture quality is excellent, even for the limited size.
In terms of simplicity and ease of use, I find the Ipod Nano is superior. It's one area of weakness for me was the earphones. I would recommend in time looking at alternatives (Sennheiser and Shure both do fantastic alternatives).
